Speaking of 2 pt matches

In Response To: Yet another question on clocks and slow play (Dan Pelton)

It's theoretically correct to cube with any market losers and some players cube on the first roll, but it is frustrating to have been told to wait for this player to finish his 2 pt quickie and watch them play THREE games with the cube unturned since no one cubes the first game.

Note to directors...please eliminate the stupidity known as a 2 pt quickie and just make it a 1 pt match instead for this side event since then many players double ASAP and reduce it to DMP anyhow, and this should mean that it this side event will be quicker and those that don't cube in a 2 pt match won't slow it down.
