I agree, Chuck.

Yesterday in Las Vegas was amazing in that a 7-point, first-round match in the U.S. Team Championships lasted 3.5 hours. I teased Howard that I didn't realize it was a two-day event. He was not amused. Fortunately, Howard's team had to play the offending party's team in the next round and Howard chose to play that person so he could attempt to make sure their match proceeded in a reasonable time. He was successful in doing so, and he won.

Just another example of the necessities of clocks for, at least, the serial offenders, if not all.
