Hitting with the 4, while covering inside with the 6, is bold. It leaves a fair number of shots and blots. A single dance on the four-point board of the Dilly Builders might be fatal.

More to the point, we do not have to hit on this turn. Our position is improving. The Dillies are running out of moves. Barring something like a 66, they are likely to cough up a blot or two later.

Making the 2pt with the 4, while running to the midpoint with the 6, is both safe and constructive.
