In Charlotte, we do 2 hours for 9 point matches with a clock. But to stay on track, you need a system that allows you to draw the next round with up to 2 matches unfinished. The draw includes "Pending Winner" and "Pending Loser". If you cannot do that, add 15 minutes.

I would recommend 1:40 for 7 points and 1:20 for 5 points, but allow time for rounds to start up to 10 minutes late. But make sure everyone knows that if they are not back when the round is posted, penalty points start after 6 minutes. Players have to start on time for a Swiss to run smoothly.
