I think we want to step up and decrease the value of their 3 point slot and 6 point spares; staying back keeps all their checkers live and puts us behind what could become a 6 prime. I'm not ready to give up on winning going forward either.

Also, making the 4 point comes at the cost of stripping our 6 (not a huge deal, but incrementally worse).
