When you are trying to win the game in a noncontact position, sometimes there are rolls worse than 21. The subject of this thread is "Gin positions", so for the purposes of this thread, we are not interested in what roll gives us the lowest winning %. We are interested in the roll that maximizes the number of rolls it will take to bear all of one sides checkers off in the worst case scenario. For the purposes of this thread, 21 is always at least tied for worst roll.
