a bias in rollouts

aside from the odd/even ply effect I see no use for it.
Also, for myself at least, I am usually not concerned with the absolute equity of a position,
I am way beyond my expertise there. I don't even really know how 0-ply works. But any situation in which you build rollout upon rollout will increase a small but clear bias to a more noticeable level.
With that in mind, here's a random thought: METs. Since they're rolled out with each side on roll, biases ought to more or less cancel out. But I'll leave that one for the smart people.
