Yours is an interesting play, much better than I thought at first.

One thing that concerns me about it is that it tends to divide our checkers. Even when it works, we will often be breaking our midpoint or 8pt in the follow-up. Sometimes that means losing our presence in the outfield at a time when we have four checkers back.

Also, when we jump out to the 18pt, the Dillies may be reluctant to hit us when they roll a 1. The only number that they will be happy to use hitting is a 6. If we can make the 18pt thereafter, we will have a decent holding game.
