How to use a MET in matchplay

Many thanks for the links Albert and TraumaBG - they are very useful.

Does anybody have the time to give a step-by-step on how they would use a MET to decide on the appropriate cube action for this 'simple' bear-off position.

Sorry for being a bit dense! Is knowing / using a MET even a correct tool for this purpose?
