any 3-point game is at worst almost a take

The below is the position I showed in the lecture.

This is about the ideal structure for the doubler so moving his checkers towards forward usually hurt the doubler especially if it goes behind her 3 point anchor. As I mentioned in the slide, the gain in the race will not compensate a loss of giving more chance to leave a shot.
Instead, you have to move the taker's checker backwards to confirm my point (maximum take point is around 22pips).
