A common mistake is responding to an opening 65R with 52S. It is more important to put a builder on the 11 pt to also help act as a second midpoint to make it more difficult to escape the last runner.

Here with a better board and since it aims so nicely at the open 5 pt gap, 52D should be even more clear.
