A lot of players misapply the "way behind in the match so I need to double earlier than normal" concept. It is true in gammonish positions but not in a straight race like this. The leader only needs 21% to take here so White should double almost exactly as he would in a money game. i.e. Wait until he has 4 or 5 men off with Black still on the roof. Black would still have a take at this point but some players would incorrectly think that their takepoint was higher than normal ATS and pass the cube. There is zero bluff vig in the diagrammed position.
