Maybe an attempt to stretch for the counter-prime now is the idea?

The radical looking 4/1* looks like it is inviting a bunch more gammon losses with all those blots. Cube is on 2 as well, which scares me off even more.

The seemingly safer 9/6 is what I saw first and TBH I would probably auto-pilot this 'pure looking' move over the board. But this more passive play (ignoring safe/bold criteria) looks too obvious with quiz factor.

If I had a bit more courage, I might decide it better to risk an alternative pay now - Bar/20 13/10. Diversify the outfield and make a grab for my opponents valuable bar point right away. If I can successfully contain that last chequer for a bit with some sort of counter-prime, he may well crunch / break due to my better timing. I should also be keeping an eye out for the most profitable time to recube.

..or maybe not ;)
