Good point Karol - its a high risk manoeuvre and I'm probably very wrong. Although there is a small chance to anchor (plus chance of a proto-backgame?) if hit and it does have the advantage of maintaining the integrity of your forward structure somewhat. I might even get a return hit - as Casper pointed out, some opponent 5s are not that great.
