I'm surprised at this large difference. I thought the run solved only one problem, and not completely because I might get hit. In contrast, making the bar unstacked the mid, got rid of a hanging blot, and created a four point block with two checkers behind it. Running, if it works, does solve a very large problem, so maybe that is the key here.
