If taking a drop later is in a list of benefits, someone should be able to show me how equity is gained in that case. Not the equity gained when a take is dropped, and not the equity when you later regret doubling.
Let's say you somehow know your opponent will take on next roll no matter what the exchange of rolls it. Also, let's say you are a dice mechanic and will always lose your market against a perfect bot, but not against this human (because he is taking). Do you gain anything by waiting a roll knowing he will take anyway? You don't!
