One set of dice is the best way to play in my opinion but you still have the issue of your opponent picking up the dice before you hit the clock/end your turn. In ATL this year I played a guy who was instantly picking up the dice after I rolled. After the third time of snatching the dice I asked him what I rolled so I could play my turn and he said "I don't know I didn't look" So not only was he grabbing them as fast as he could he also didn't bother to look at them first.
