I have taken a cue from David Levy.

At the start of an unclocked match or session that uses only one set of dice, I explain to my opponents that I will use a knife-like tap with the edge of my flattened hand to signify the end of my turn. It's kind of a chopping action. That's the way David does it, too.

I adopted this technique when I realized that I sometimes touch the board with my fingers as I count pips.
