I like Z (reverse split) = 24/20, 13/9, as well.

As Casper points out, it avoids leaving a direct shot from the heavy midpoint. If an exchange of hits should occur, Blue's two-point board is just as likely to induce an "accident" as the two-point board of his opponent. And if Blue is not hit, he will have a chance to make an advanced anchor, and equalize the game.
