Streaming + Commentary

I could comment to more of Phil's post, but I will just touch on this:

Streaming with commentary should happen more, and that requires a special setup that each tournament director cannot afford, but the USBGF or all the directors together could pitch in for the best equipment and have it sent to each tournament with an expert who sets it up and runs it properly.

There are many ways to do streaming with commentary, but due to having to transport equipment from both Las Vegas and Houston all the way to Monte Carlo, we needed to make it as simple as possible.

It was really not an expensive setup. All that was needed was:

1. A 2nd laptop.
2. USB microphone for the commentary to be heard on the stream.
3. Wired or wireless microphone hooked up to an amplifier for the commentary to be heard by the crowd watching from the tournament room.
4. Projector.
5. Projection screen.

The remaining equipment is exactly what is necessary to stream any other match which does not include commentary.
