Its not just the ELO difference, his defensive skills are questionable, he takes deep (not always). And really, if you think about it (I tend to utilize the GNU FIBS rating equivalent alot), anywhere over 50 ELO is quite a difference. Although, I dont know off the top of my head what ER difference a 75-125 ELO difference makes - but it must have a number.
