The nine point unstacks the midpoint and brings an eleventh checker into the zone while only leaving two shots.

The four point is a more permanent asset, but doesn't block quite as well and the two blots on the eight and nine leave six shots instead of two. But the shots require white to use both dice so she won't be able to hit and cover. I think making the four is sound, but I'm inclined towards the nine.
