Blue's advantage is mainly in the race lead and having only one checker back, so Blue would like to avoid exchanges of hits. White's advanced anchor also is a factor reducing the gains from hitting. Given this, making the 4 point behind the anchor is not logical. 13/9 11/9 makes a good landing point, so that is my play.

14/10 13/11 looks better than making the 4, but we (among other arguments) don't want to make a point 6 away from the anchor on the 20, and we'd like to make a more compact formation.
