BF >> We have had the suggestion that we count "point differential" with round robin format in the past as a tie breaker. We never did accept it.....or try it.
This exactly.

I only asked because 'points difference' after 6 x 11 point matches (not perfect - I know!) might be a factor (amongst others) in deciding end of season standings.
Regarding timing out: I guesstimate that, with intermediate / advanced players, it will only occur in the region of 1 in 50 matches (or less). From your experiences with 12s / 2mpp, is this in the ballpark?
Also, currently the vast majority of our matches are unclocked anyway, but I hope to help our members become familiar with playing timed matches in the future. I know I personally could benefit from more pre-tournament practice :)
I might ask for opinions on the best way(s) to tie-break a 4 player round robin in a new thread..
