I think it would be nice to include initials to indicate the type of default. For example, in a 15-point match, you might write:

15-TO	(losing player timed out)
15-DNF	(losing player did not finish, maybe because of sickness or emergency)
15-DNS	(losing player did not show up on time)
15-DQ	(losing player was disqualified)
