Match scoring protocol when time runs out? +1 (Longish)

I agree with Colin here completely.
One point for losing on FLG was a means of incentivising and rewarding demotivated players to finish their matches. Unless I am mistaken, a draw of 0-0 only occurs when both players make no effort to play their match; in the case were one player makes an effort to play he is awarded the win by default and the no show loser gets zero points.
The logical system appears to be 1 for a win, 0 for a draw and -1 for a loss, just as in BG equity measurement or on a chouette or head-to-head score sheet accounting. If you want to award points for turning up it should be for both players, so 2-1-0 or 3-2-1 would be acceptable. 2-1-0 seems reasonable, but 3-2-1 seems unnecessary. 3-0-1 appears to be illogical and I would say unacceptable for most discerning players/participants.
