I hit two. First of all, this is a tempo play to avoid White pointing and extending the prime, second, who needs a prime when ahead in the race by this much; third, we might get lucky and succeed with the blitz; fourth, if hit, we may anchor high - we don't want to be hit, but this possibility reduces some of the negatives resulting from such a hit.
