One night, many years ago, probably with a glass of Cabernet Franc in our hands, Ed and I were standing on a hill just past his sculpture garden's paved walkway, admiring the vista of the valley and mountains. By chance, we were both looking up at the same spot among the many stars in the night sky when a meteor came through the atmosphere right where we were looking (from 2 o'clock to 9 o'clock). Flashes of green, red, purple, blue, white, a little yellow then just a trailing wisp that disappeared. We had identical "WOW" expressions when we turned to look at each other. A special moment with a special friend; among many others.
