"It will say you were luckier (of course; that's how you got to the good position where he took, and then brought the gammon home!) but also that your opponent outplayed you, since he only made that one mistake with the cube while you accumulated multiple errors adding up to a lot more equity with all those "missed doubles"."

Does "it" stand for luck factor here?
