This is a known position type that has been studied and calculated for several decades. Even if you advance White's 2 checkers from the mid pt to the 9 pt, creating a 9 away situation, White will hit often enough to have a close take.

As it is here, the block of 33 and a couple small rolls gives White an easy take. Of course it is a cube as Blue is a big fave but doesn't win a huge amount of G's and it is nearly (not quite) a last roll cube situation.
