Hi Eric,
New i7-6950X 10 core chip overclocked to 4.1 GHz. Got 32 GB high end RAM and a high end video card so I can play any game I want to with this for years as well.
Comparing vs a several year older computer that was 8 core OC'd to 4.8 GHz. That calibrated at 9 mil. 8 x 4.8 = 38.4 10 x 4.1 = 41 so I'd not expected that much difference, but am aware that the new chips and more cache etc etc are more efficient with floating point math so XG will run quicker. But this is a greater improvement than expected. Perhaps some computer pro can enlighten me.
Note also that you can't safely overclock these 10 core chips as high as the 8 core as they heat up too quickly and too much.
