I think you run here with 18/8. You got board advantage and have semistripped position. Opp will probably improve next roll. Good time to run with such race lead.

I think you even have a small double AtS if missed, but I don't think it influences the eq difference between the plays that much. Alternative of 13/3 is just weak. You strip, you got only one direct cover for the blot, and you'd rather not worry about it when you want to attack his rear blot to try for some gammons (which AtS are quite valuable).
