Have anybody else noticed this bias in 0 ply to double too soon?

I've noticed 0-ply doubling when 2-ply doesn't. 0-ply Gnubg on Gamesgrid seemed a little optimistic, especially in 5-point matches -- my impression at the time. WildGnu? I'd guess, though, that 2-ply analysis of cube decisions in 0-ply sessions would find that 0-ply doesn't give up much equity, overall, with such early doubles.
