The extra checker on the 8pt suggests hitting twice, but there are some indications for playing safe and leaving only one extra blot. White has the stronger board, and Blue has escaped a back checker and is ahead in the race after this roll. Also, while we'd like to prevent White from making her 9pt, it's not that big a deal if she does make it.

The thing is that 13/7* doesn't reduce return shots. So I would hit twice.
