What about buying a bye?

Yes. It is also an argument against the rebuys. However since everyone has a chance to rebuy at the same amount it is not as drastic an issue.

Suppose you can at least get to 12 instead of 16. A redraw when down to 3 players with compensation for the player not getting the buy is also fair.
