I also hope the USBGF decides to award ABT point to more people- it generates interest and would be good for the game.

I don't like the idea of less points for byes if they're randomly awarded like they are now. But for rebuys it makes a lot of sense since they're entering multiple times. Maybe something like the square root of 1+n so 1.4 for 1 rebuy and 1.7 for 2. Auctioned byes are somewhere in between but I'd lean toward no points reduction. btw I don't think the ABT increases the number of points for rebuys but it really should - its harder to win a tournament when there are 100 entries than 70 even if 30 are rebuys.
