There are two competing principles - too stay as far back as possible when far behind in the race, and to make the point 6 away from the point your opponent wants to clear (the rearmost point), per Magriel. So B/24 9/4 or B/20 21/20. I would be inclined to make the 20 in any case, and consider it close, but look at the swing on 66! Make the 20.
