It is a bit less than 1/2 in cash games because of the cube vig, I think.
Assume you have rolled out two moves cubelessly. If move 1 wins two more gammons compared to move two, but loses 1 single game more, you want to choose move two in a cash game, since cube vig is typically (I cannot prove this)proportional to the winning chances.
If we think in terms of games and gammons won or lost whatever the status of the game is ... cubeless or cubefull with or without Jackoby, then the number 1/2 is exact. I meant the whole thing as compared to the cubeless numbers.
I am thinking about your second question. It is a nice one.
