Who is the best ...

This is a fun idea.
I would like to add:
backgammon and ping pong
Backgammon and Go
Of course all of the answers are subjective to some extent, but I do have a few thoughts.
Clearly for backgammon and poker we would have to put Gus at the top of the list. Then maybe Siedel. Don't know how good Robertie and Magriel are at poker but they certainly have some expertise. And of course, Sander has to be on that list somewhere. I know you are clearly a top backgammon player, and I know you excel at Poker, just don't know how good you are. Francois has made a name for himself in Poker and backgammon and while Phil Laak is a great poker player, I don't think his backgammon game is that exceptional.
Backgammon, Poker and Gin, you make it tough. Most of us don't know how good people are at Gin. I know Mike Sall is a great gin player, and I know he is a very decent backgammon player. Just don't know his poker skills. I rate myself, and Howard Markowitz as two of the better gin players who play backgammon, but neither of us are worthy of ratings in poker.
When you add bridge to the mix, you have to think about Kit, as he is one of the best bridge players in the world, a top backgammon player, and I know he is a fine gin player. I have no idea about his poker skills. Since we can go into the past, Oswald Jacoby would be my pick for this quad category as he was tops in backgammon, gin and bridge, but I don't know about poker. (I am a life master at bridge, a top gin player, a decent backgammon player, but again, my poker is very weak.)
As for backgammon and chess, and backgammon and ping pong, I have heard Senk is highly ranked at both ping pong and chess. I know Gus is also a top ping pong player (I have given backgammon lessons to his ping pong teacher who told me how strong Gus' game is there.)
Backgammon an chess, again, I don't know all the ratings, but Senk and Robertie come to mind, but also Elliott Winslow.
Go? No question it's Nack.
How about Othello? David Rockwell and probably Nack.
