Perhaps my knowledge isn't current about backgame theory, but I thought there generally comes a time when you want to stop hitting blots vs a backgame. Isn't the idea to crash your opponents game by having 8,9 (maybe 10) men behind a prime, or near prime, while his remaining men dutifully dump to his ace and deuce points?
