A backgammon loss here is a shocker compared to a gammon loss...this is obvious due to the score...common sense tells me to make sure that if white doesn't roll one of his 5 backgammon winning rolls then i need to make sure that i run off the backgammon with any roll, the only way to do that is to play 24-20 and whatever with the 2.If i stay back in the hope of winning a single i am only really kidding myself.
