.0076 is a bit of a difference to make up. I am surprised Stick doesn't slot as I think he's very skilled in backgames should one, as it often will at GG come up here when you get a couple/few checkers hit after slotting.

For me, if I don't slot vs someone at GG here with 41 it is bcuz I think they may be better in backgame-type positions than me, but worse than me in holding-type positions (noting that after splitting 41 you're more likely to soon be ahead in the race than after slotting). Or it's a case where I've seen them screw up responses to the 41 split and expect less screws if I slot. Or finally, its a case where I'm playing another WC player, but am feeling ill and think I can better handle what may be a more simple game after splitting.

ie..I am slotting at least 90% of the time with 41 at GG .. neilkaz ..
