I think everyone got it right. It was indeed a softball. In the replies though until Nack posted his variant, nobody has stated the last of the major reasons that making the 8pt is correct.

  • Cut off our opponent's joker, the [66]
  • Cut off the fly shots while we try to bring our outfield checkers home
  • And, it is far easier for us to make the 4pt down the line than it is for us to ever make the 8pt if we pass it up now.
