Interesting. To say the obvious, we are up 9 pips after the roll which means minimize contact, but board strength indicates that we should maximize contact. I like our chances in a hitting contest, but splitting the back checkers seems a bit much. I would play 20/18(2) 3/1(2). This play gives white fewer easily playable numbers.
