Thanks for posting the link, John. I'm vaguely amused to see yet another backgammon author with a long list of planned books that will never see the light of day. I'm assuming that the "book of annotated games" and the "book of backgammon problems" that Magriel was working on (at the time that the article was written) were never finished.

Does anyone know if Magriel's New York Times articles are available anywhere (other than on microfilm)?
