Two things - the first number is total wins, including gammons and backgammons. Second, black has cube access. So the sequence lift, escape, miss means a double out with significant residual win chances for white. After 21/12, hit and escape, return missed, black will be playing on, but will not get a whole lot of value out of cube access.
