Don't expect there will ever be a Volume 2 for any backgammon book!

I've also heard the advice that as an author, don't print Volume 1 until you are 100% sure that Volume 2 will be completed. If you can't be sure, then get yourself off the hook by coming up with an ordered system that doesn't involve "1" and "2."
