Very interesting, but why doesn't that apply at least equally to 4/3 vs. 3/2?
I did not intend to compare 4/3 to 3/2. Those two candidates are relatively safe moves and are too similar to each other for the large-scale principle I was illustrating. But maybe that answer misinterprets your question.
Did you mean "Why doesn't 4/3 vs 7/6 contrast in the same way that 3/2 vs 7/6 contrasts?" If so, my answer is...
It does. Rather than over-complicate the post with a third diagram (which would have been redundant to my point), I chose the highest-equity play between the safe candidates of 3/2 and 4/3 to be the one to contrast against the loose 7/6.
