Not an issue because the captain can never be dropped unless the cubes are unequal.

For instance the box is presented with three cubes, captain's cube at "2", one of the crew at "2" and another crew member at "8". At that point it is an equity decision, so the box could choose to take the "8" and drop the two "2" cubes. If the box chooses to take any of the "2"cubes, it has to be the captain's.
