The Calcutta was for all players still alive. We sold the sixteen remaining undefeated players individually. Then we sold three fields of sixteen players each from the Second Chance brackets -- these corresponded to the three sheets of Second Chance brackets. Sheet 1 was Team 1, Sheet 2 was Team 2, etc.

The calculated equity of each of the undefeated players was 0.05664 -- this included 0.046875 of winning as an undefeated champion and and additional 0.00974 individual equity of winning as a one-loss champion.

The cumulative equity of the sixteen players on each of the three fields was only 0.03125. This counterintuitive relative equity results from them each already having a loss and the much greater number of matches they would have to play to win.

By the luck of the draw and the brackets, Team 1 included Falafel, MCG, Pryadkin, Gronbech, and Ashkenazi among others and generated by far the most interest.

The individual undefeated players who sold for the greatest amount were a tie between Petko and Peter Jes Thomsen.
